Powell, Tennessee-based Weigel’s is collaborating with GSP Retail to make the holiday season brighter for My Weigel’s Rewards members. As of December 13, the “12 Days of Christmas” promotion kicked off by offering a free, holiday-themed item each day for registered loyalty members over the 12-day period continuing until Christmas day.
A key feature of this festive campaign is the collection of cheerful red mailboxes prominently displayed in all 83 Weigel’s locations across East Tennessee. Each mailbox is a hub for holiday activity, highlighting the free gift for loyalty members while offering children the chance to send postcards to Santa. Each mailbox has a slot for mailing letters to the North Pole, and Weigel’s provides complimentary postcards to make it easier to be part of the holiday fun.
Weigel’s Director of Loyalty Jessica Starnes said, “Our My Weigel’s Rewards program is all about showing appreciation for our customers, and the ‘12 Days of Christmas’ is a fun way to give back during the holiday season. From festive treats for our loyalty members to creating magical moments for families, this is our way of spreading cheer and saying thank you to the communities we call home.”
GSP VP of National Accounts Shane Delaney added, “We’re thrilled to support Weigel’s with our visual merchandising expertise. The ‘12 Days of Christmas’ perfectly captures the spirit of the season, and we’re proud to play a part in creating memorable moments for their loyal customers and families.”
The red mailboxes, designed by GSP, were inspired by Weigel’s snow globe displays during last year’s holiday season. The mailboxes serve as a focal point of the season. GSP’s design and visual merchandising teams collaborated closely with Weigel’s to create a display that blended seamlessly into the stores’ holiday promotions.
