ThriftBooks Global, LLC recently announced updates to its widely popular ReadingRewards loyalty program. A new top tier, Literati Elite, will reward the platform’s most loyal customers. Meanwhile, all members will receive enhanced benefits. ReadingRewards is considered one of the largest loyalty programs for print books, allowing members to earn points that can be redeemed for free books, with no limit on the number of rewards. Members can redeem these free book rewards for titles valued up to $7.
ThriftBooks Chairman and CEO Ken Goldstein said, “ReadingRewards is the backbone of our customer relationship and retention strategy, and delighting our customers with free books rewards them for their brand loyalty. The joyous response we’ve seen to the value our customers’ experience at all tiers of ReadingRewards reinforces our commitment to engaging with and serving our customers. With dependable everyday low prices and innovative promotions throughout the year, ThriftBooks is proud to be the destination of choice for millions of booklovers.”
Some of the new program enhancements include the Literati Elite top tier for customers who spend $250 or more annually, Double Points Days for members of Bookworm, Literati, and Literati Elite tiers, more birthday bonus points for Bookwork and Reader tiers, and Free Book birthday rewards for Literati and Literatie Elite members. Bookworm, Literati, and Literati Elite members will also get more points for used books.
The new benefit offerings reflect ThriftBooks’ ongoing dedication to an exceptional customer experience, earning the company numerous accolades. ThriftBooks made Newsweek’s Best Online Shops list for 2025, marking the sixth year in a row it’s received recognition.
