BMO has officially launched Blue Rewards, a new loyalty program designed to help Canadians earn more value from their everyday spending. The rollout marks the completion of BMO’s transition from the AIR MILES program, with existing AIR MILES balances automatically converted to Blue Points at the same value. Built around flexibility and convenience, Blue Rewards allows members to earn and redeem points across a growing network of travel, retail, dining, and digital partners, while maintaining a simple, unified rewards structure.
Blue Rewards focuses on rewarding essential spending categories such as groceries, gas, wholesale purchases, and everyday services. Members can earn points through partnerships with brands including Porter Airlines, Instacart, Accor hotel properties, and popular MTY Group restaurant chains. Alongside the loyalty program launch, BMO has introduced a new lineup of Blue Rewards Mastercard credit cards, business cards, commercial cards, and a Blue Rewards Chequing Account.
"Built around how Canadians choose to spend, Blue Rewards brings together in-store, online and digital experiences to make earning and redeeming rewards more flexible, convenient and seamless," said Mathew Mehrotra, Group Head, Canadian Personal & Business Banking, BMO. "Blue Rewards helps Canadians make real financial progress with a focus on making their money go further, every day."
