Atmos Rewards Launches Monthly Members Day to Deliver New Travel Opportunities and Exclusive Experiences

Atmos Rewards is introducing Atmos Members Day, a new monthly initiative designed to help loyalty members get more value from the program through exclusive offers, travel inspiration and personalized opportunities. Taking place on the first Wednesday of every month, Members Day will serve as a dedicated touchpoint for members, delivering a curated collection of promotions, program updates and unique experiences directly to their inboxes.

In addition to travel redemptions and exclusive experiences, Atmos Members Day will feature partner offers that allow members to earn points through everyday activities such as dining and travel purchases. Future editions will continue to include limited-time redemption opportunities, community events, program enhancements, and special partner promotions. By bringing these benefits together in a single monthly communication, Atmos Rewards aims to create a more flexible and member-centric loyalty experience that keeps travelers informed, inspired and rewarded throughout the year.

As Brett Catlin, Vice President of Loyalty and Partnerships, International at Alaska Airlines, shared in his note to members, the goal is simple: highlight “the best of what Atmos Rewards has to offer,” while keeping members connected to the latest updates and benefits.

Walmart Adds Subway Delivery to Express Delivery Service

Walmart is expanding its Express Delivery offering by integrating Subway ordering directly into the Walmart app and Walmart.com, giving customers a new way to combine restaurant meals with their everyday shopping. Starting this month in select markets, customers can order freshly made Subway meals for delivery in as little as 30 minutes, either as a standalone order or alongside groceries, household essentials and other Walmart purchases. The move marks Walmart’s first restaurant integration within its Express Delivery platform and reflects the retailer’s broader strategy of creating a more convenient, all-in-one shopping experience.

The new service allows customers to browse the Subway menu, customize sandwiches and meals, and add them directly to their Walmart cart. Orders will be delivered for the standard Walmart Express Delivery fee, with Subway menu pricing remaining consistent with in-store locations. Subway delivery through Walmart is now available at select stores in Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Texas, with plans to expand to approximately 1,400 locations by the end of the summer.

“The future of retail is about bringing more of customers’ everyday needs into a single, seamless experience,” said Tracy Poulliot, EVP eCommerce and Marketing, Walmart U.S. “Bringing Subway delivery into the Walmart app is another way we’re using our proximity to customers and scale to make everyday decisions simpler and everyday life a little easier.”

Hilton Report Highlights the Growing Importance of Human Connection in the Workplace

As organizations adapt to increasingly digital and AI-driven work environments, Hilton is making the case that human-centered leadership remains one of the most important drivers of employee engagement and business performance. In a new report, The Hospitality Mindset: A New Blueprint for Culture and Performance for Any Industry, Hilton explores how principles traditionally associated with hospitality can help organizations strengthen workplace culture, improve retention and boost productivity. The report combines new workforce research with insights from leaders at some of Hilton’s highest-performing hotels to identify the behaviors shaping the future of work.

The findings suggest that employees continue to place a high value on connection, trust and belonging, even as remote and hybrid work models become more common. According to research cited in the report, nearly half of early-career workers report feeling lonely at work, while 77% of employees say they are more likely to stay with an organization when leaders actively foster a sense of community. The company believes that hospitality-inspired leadership — focused on empathy, recognition and meaningful connections — can help organizations navigate change while maintaining employee engagement.

“As work becomes more digital and AI reshapes the workplace, people still want the same fundamental things: connection, trust and a sense that they matter,” said Laura Fuentes, chief human resources officer, Hilton, and head of Hilton Supply Management. “The companies that create that kind of culture will be the ones that attract talent, retain teams and outperform over time.”
