AD Retail Media Partners with Placements.io for Enhanced Digital Performance  

AD Retail Media announced an expansion of its network facilitated through a partnership with Placements.io. AD Retail Media is the in-house network for grocery retail group Ahold Delhaize USA. By bolstering network capabilities and digital performance through the ad sales platform, AD Retail Media will streamline its advertising, sales, and finance operations, resulting in an enhanced experience for its consumer-packaged goods (CPG) partners.

The collaboration with Placements.io will help expand AD Retail Media’s digital network via automated workflows and integrated technology. Some of the primary integrations include Salesforce, Meta/Facebook, Epsilon Retail Media, and Pinterest. Placements.io will also facilitate more efficient revenue management controls and research and development. Insider Intelligence eMarketer ranked AD Retail Media fifth last year in CPG Retail Media. AD leverages the market presence and customer connections of Ahold Delhaize USA’s brands to help CPG partners engage with a significant East Coast omnichannel customer base.

Hibbett Expands Same-Day and Next-Day Delivery Services with Walmart GoLocal and Salesforce 

Athletic fashion retailer Hibbett, Inc. announced the expansion of its same-day and next-day delivery services. Powered by Walmart GoLocal, Walmart’s white-label delivery service, and Salesforce Commerce Cloud, the new service allows Hibbett customers to order and receive thousands of items in its inventory, including apparel, accessories, and sneakers. 

“Customers shop Hibbett and City Gear for their favorite footwear and athletic-inspired apparel from top brands, and now they will have the opportunity to receive coveted items quicker than ever before with a seamless omnichannel shopping experience,” said Ben Knighten, Senior Vice President of Operations at Hibbett. “Expanding our omnichannel fulfillment capabilities with Walmart GoLocal and Salesforce positions Hibbett and City Gear to provide our loyal customers with even more convenience.” 

Twenty-two percent of online apparel shoppers worldwide say they will abandon their carts if they don’t have the option of same-day delivery. Hibbett’s new delivery capabilities will help meet current and future customer demand, enhancing the customer experience. Shoppers can filter products available for same- or next-day delivery based on their zip code while shopping on Hibbett.com. Since implementing Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Hibbett has focused on scalability, enhancing its competitiveness in the industry.

Six Flags Enhances Fan Experience with Metaverse Experience on Roblox Launch 

North American theme park operator Six Flags Entertainment Corporation is reimagining virtual entertainment. The Six Flags Metaverse on Roblox is an online gamescape that features a variety of immersive experiences, including mazes inspired by the iconic Fright Fest, virtual roller coasters, and engaging games. Users can earn and collect “Coastercoins” via Digital Twin’s proprietary software, which can be redeemed for rewards and activities at physical Six Flags parks, bridging the virtual and physical theme park experience.
