An updated FLX Rewards program will bring members new benefits, such as FLX Cash, allowing customers to direct earned points toward purchases to receive a discount. Foot Locker, Inc. sees the revamped program and plans to upgrade its mobile app as notable steps under the brand’s internal Lace Up Plan, introduced in March 2023, developed to improve company growth.

Leveraging insights collected from consumers, the improved program will provide exclusive benefits for program members, including special sales, access to new sneaker reveals, and free returns, among many other desirable perks.
The improved mobile app will come after the rewards program release. Mobile app users will enjoy a frictionless integration with the FLX Rewards program and better functionality. Also included in the updated app is a “Heat Monitor,” which serves as real-time launch notifications designed to generate excitement for new products. Plans for adding in-store SKU scanning functionality to determine product availability are earmarked for 2025 as part of the enhanced mobile app.
