Hostess Brands opened a new Innovation Lab in June to help support its commitment to innovate its products. This lab is in Lenexa, Kansas, and employs about 20 researchers, product testers and bakers, who will all work to create new snack cakes the resonate with consumers. These unique cakes include some of the new products like the Iced Lemon CupCakes, Pumpkin Spice Twinkies and the recently conceived Hot Fudge Sundae CupCakes tested for early 2021 production.
