Wyndham Hotels and Resorts Offering New Promotion for Travelers

Wyndham Hotels and Resorts has announced a new promotion to try and get people to start traveling again. That promotion is called the ‘Stay Two Nights, Earn a Free Night’ program. This free night is offered in the form of 7,500 bonus Wyndham Rewards points, following customers staying two consecutive nights or more now through September 10, 2020.

“With everyday travelers out there traveling, and vacationers gearing up for road trips this summer and fall, Wyndham is reminding every kind of traveler that our hotels are open, ready to welcome them, and within reach,” said Sheila Schottland, vice president of Brand Marketing at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, in a Wyndham Hotels and Resorts press release. “This promotion, along with our latest ad campaign, offers travelers a chance to consider where their next stay will take them – whether it is a quick car trip to reconnect with their family or a longer vacation to get away from it all – and makes it that much more rewarding with enough Wyndham Rewards bonus points for a free night stay towards future trips.”

Those that are members of the Wyndham Rewards program can book their stay of two or more consecutive nights at www.WyndhamRewards.com/freenight and earn the one-time bonus. It will be awarded after the completion of the customer’s visit. These stays need to be booked directly with Wyndham Rewards from July 16 through September 8, 2020, and completed by September 10, 2020. The points awarded with the promotion are in addition to points earned for the stay.

The new promotion from Wyndham Hotels and Resorts is also following a new advertising campaign. This new campaign, according to the press release, focuses on engaging everyday travelers when they look to book a hotel stay. It builds on the brand’s previous campaign, “10 Minutes from a Hotel by Wyndham.” This campaign is currently being advertised on digital channels for travelers that want to get back on the road, and it is being run across television, digital video, streaming radio, social media, email, direct response channels, and other website channels.

Wyndham continues to look at ways the customer journey can be made safer. That includes giving disinfecting wipes with key cards at check-in, complimentary travel-size hand sanitizer for each room, more frequent cleaning and disinfecting of high-touch areas, and enhanced social distancing measures.
