Filing taxes might not be fun, but Jackson Hewitt Tax Services® is doing its best to make tax filing season better for its clients and other U.S. taxpayers. The company has launched its second annual “Double Your Refund” Sweepstakes. Over 15 weeks, Jackson Hewitt will offer taxpayers a chance to win, doubling their federal income tax refund. Two winners will be chosen every week. While $10,000 is the maximum payout, winners with no or small federal income tax refunds can still take home a minimum prize of $1,500. Twenty others will have a chance to win $200 every week. A final “tax season drawing” will follow the same payouts as the weekly drawings.
“The Double Your Refund sweepstakes is one more way we can continue to recognize the trust and loyalty our clients have placed in selecting our Tax Pros and the tax services they receive at Jackson Hewitt,” says Kim Hudson, SVP and Chief Marketing Officer at Jackson Hewitt Tax Services.

Until April 15, 2024, people filing U.S. federal income taxes can enter for a chance to win. While there is one entry per person, there are two ways to enter:

During the sweepstakes, taxpayers filing a 2023 federal tax return at any Jackson Hewitt are automatically entered for a chance to win.

Non-client taxpayers can still enter for a chance to win one of the weekly drawings by mailing their entries within a specific timeframe. Please see the Jackson Hewitt website for full details and rules regarding mailed entries.
