Companies are constantly fighting for greater brand loyalty—y’know, that feeling that compels their customers to stick to their particular product. Apple’s cult-like fan base is a great example.
Well, whatever Hyundai’s doing to keep customers coming back is working: a recent survey placed them seventh amongst all brands for customer loyalty, and first amongst car brands, reports the Car Connection.
The sad part? Only two other automakers even graced the top 100.
The survey from American researchers Brand Keys measured people’s buying habits and used it to rate the value of 528 different brands (of various airlines, gasoline stations, beer companies and so on).
This is the second year Hyundai’s found itself in the top 10; and they’re still way ahead of competitor Toyota, at spot number 59. Ford ranked 86 in the survey, a jump from last year’s position at 323.
Though the survey polled American consumers, Hyundai’s raging popularity is evident in Canada, too; they just opened their 200th dealership in the country, in Winnipeg. In fact, they say they’ve grown to become Canada’s top passenger car brand.
At this rate, it may not be long before they overtake the top brands - Apple, Amazon and Facebook - and begin their plan for world domination to branch out into other segments.
