Red Robin Enhances Loyalty Program for Faster Rewards and Exclusive Perks
 
Red Robin announced it’s revamping its loyalty program to meet customer expectations. The Colorado-based food chain enhanced its rewards structure so guests can accumulate points more quickly to use toward free food. The casual dining restaurant conducted an internal survey last year among its guests, and more than 50% said they wanted to earn rewards faster. Its previous rewards structure gave a free entree after a guest purchased nine entrees. The new loyalty program offers members a way to earn one point for each dollar spent on qualifying purchases, which include non-entrée food and beverage items. Red Robin loyalty members will receive $10 toward their favorite menu items for every 100 points they earn.
 
“Our Red Robin Royalty members deserve to feel like royalty when dining with us,” said Kevin Mayer, Red Robin’s Chief Marketing Officer. “This overhauled loyalty program is the latest in a series of upgrades at Red Robin to enhance the guest experience through culinary innovation and superb service, and now, our members will be able to earn points faster, along with other exclusive perks, allowing them to cash in on their continued love of our delicious burgers, which is the number one ask that we heard.”
 
The revamped program offers VIP benefits such as exclusive offers, sneak peeks, early access to the latest menu items, free birthday burgers (including kids’ birthday burgers), and a free appetizer for new members who sign up. The program coincides with Red Robin’s new “Leave Room for Fun” marketing campaign, encouraging guests to enjoy playful and memorable dining experiences at Red Robin.
 
Red Robin’s loyalty program was originally launched in 2008 and boasts more than 13 million members today.
