GAWMiners recently launched the GAW Loyalty Rewards and Refer-a-Friend programs. The programs can be accessed by simply logging into the GAWMiners website with an existing login or by creating a new one. All new and existing accounts receive 1,000 points to start.
The GAW Loyalty Rewards program earns customers 10 rewards points for every dollar they spend. Points are redeemable for store credit (up to hundreds and even thousands of dollars). Points may be redeemed as soon as the user hits a goal or they can be saved up to reach a larger goal and a bigger credit.
The Refer-a-Friend program allows customers to send a referral link to their friends and other people, which will provide a coupon when the referred user visits the site (currently $20 off a $200 or more purchase). For every referral, the referrer earns 5000 points (equivalent of a $500 order) which are combined with any other points earned in the Loyalty Rewards program.
Rami Abramov, CMO, GAWMiners participated in a Q&A with Loyalty360 to discuss his company’s latest loyalty offerings.
Can you explain to our audience what GAWMiners is and what products/services you sell?
GAWMiners is a bitcoin and litecoin hardware provider. We give our customers the options of having their equipment delivered or hosted with us (with free hosting and electricity). We also provide 24/7 phone and technical support as well as a 60-day warranty on our products.
What factors prompted the launch of two customer loyalty programs and was customer feedback a part of it?
We wanted to thank our customers for returning to us and being loyal and realized this is a great way to do it. We don’t take our customer loyalty for granted and this is our way of showing our appreciation. Regarding the referral system, customer feedback was definitely a part of it! We decided to provide the two systems together so our customers can gain the maximum benefits from each program.
What are your goals for the two loyalty programs and how does each work?
Our goal is to increase word-of-mouth traffic online and offline. Our customers already know how great our services are and many of them asked about these programs before.
The loyalty program allows customers to earn 10 points for every dollar they spend. All the points from the programs add up in each customer’s account and can then be used to activate a store credit all the way up to $1,500 dollars (the equivalent of our most powerful miner−the Gridseed Blade).
What is your definition of customer loyalty and has that definition changed in recent years?
Customer loyalty is earned by a company for providing great customer service and quality products. I don’t think that definition changes much, at least not for us!
How do you engage your customers with the goal of creating a brand advocacy environment?
We are always requesting feedback from our customers because our goal has always been to grow in the direction of serving our customers better. We’re here to change the cryptocurrency mining industry and we cannot do this without our customers’ feedback, loyalty, and support.
What things/challenges keep you up at night?
Whenever I let a customer down, I know I’ve done something wrong. Regardless of what it is, the next day my No. 1 priority is to make sure this doesn’t happen again−whether it requires creating a new system, hiring more employees, creating a new department, etc.
