This holiday season, Nordstrom is simplifying the shopping experience with a redesigned mobile app that brings the in-store shopping experience to customers digitally. The refreshed app has new features to inspire and personalize the shopping journey, from finding perfect gifts to beauty tutorials, free samples, visits with Santa, and styling advice. Through these initiatives, Nordstrom hopes to offer an enhanced shopping experience for its customers during the holidays.
 
The immersive app installation introduces a new, vibrant homepage and improved personalization capabilities, making it easier for customers to shop for the items they want. The app’s integration of generative AI allows it to suggest the latest trends based on customer interactions. Interactive features like Style Swipes further enhance the app’s ability to recommend relevant products, making it easier for customers to discover the perfect holiday wardrobe or gift. 
 
Nordstrom’s enhanced search functionality allows users to find items more efficiently by simply describing what they’re looking for. Plus, the app will provide Nordy Club rewards program members with real-time tracking of Nordstrom Notes so they can watch their loyalty points accumulate. 
 
Customers can also enjoy Nordstrom’s convenient services this holiday season, such as same-day or next-day order pick-up and free two-day shipping across 25 major markets. Users simply have to filter their fulfillment preferences on the Nordstrom website. Additionally, Nordstrom’s website features curated holiday gift guides, offering inspiration for thoughtful and personalized presents. Whether shopping for luxury items or budget-friendly gifts, Nordstrom ensures there’s something for everyone this season.
 
For those looking to experience holiday magic firsthand, Nordstrom is offering several immersive events and experiences, both online and in-store. On November 27, the flagship Nordstrom NYC store unveiled an immersive installation called “The Blizz on 57Th Street,” turning the store into a magical wonderland of large inflatable characters, with voiceovers by actress Fran Drescher and actor John Waters. Nordstrom is further elevating the customer experience by hosting daily Santa Snow Shows, a holiday weekend brunch series, and more festive fun. Nordstrom is also partnering with Shutterfly for personalized holiday ornaments, discounts, and family photos with Santa. Meanwhile, Nordstrom Rack continues to offer up to 70% off on holiday gifts, making it a go-to destination for those shopping on a budget.
 
For customers wanting more excitement over the holidays, all through December, the retailer will have a Spin to Win wheel and a gift card sweepstakes, where it will award $1,000 and two tickets for a Broadway musical every Saturday.
 
Nordstrom is also offering two limited-quantity NYC experience packages for purchase. The first package includes a four-night stay at the JW Marriott Essex House complete with tickets to “The Nutcracker” or the “Radio City Christmas Spectacular, dining in Central Park or the Plaza Hotel, and a Nordstrom shopping spree. The second package includes tickets to Mariah Carey’s Christmas concert, glam appointments, dining at Nordstrom’s NYC Icon Lounge, and more.
