MSC Cruises Introduces Exclusive Blue Diamond Loyalty Tier

MSC Cruises has enhanced its loyalty program, the MSC Voyagers Club, by launching an elite new Blue Diamond tier. As the highest level available, Blue Diamond offers exclusive perks to loyal passengers who meet specific requirements, including access to all previous tier benefits from the Classic, Silver, Gold, and Diamond levels. The new tier caters to avid MSC travelers by offering priority services and unique privileges, including a meet-and-greet with the ship’s captain or officer, priority embarkation and luggage drop-off, flexible dining options, free Wi-Fi for one device, complimentary shuttle service at select ports, and first access to cabin upgrades.

To qualify for the Blue Diamond level, members must accrue at least 25,000 points, making it a significant step up from the former highest Diamond tier, which required 10,000 points. Points can only be earned through MSC-hosted cruises and MSC doesn’t allow point transfers from other programs or its Status Match Program.

MSC has also extended the validity period for Voyagers Club memberships, from three to five years. Members who sail at least once within this extended period will retain their points and active status. Members earn points through cruise bookings, onboard purchases, and by taking advantage of amenities such as spa treatments and shore excursions.

Blues and Verizon Collab to Provide $1 Million in Debt Relief for St. Louis Veterans This Holiday Season

The St. Louis Blues hockey team and Verizon have launched a multi-year collaboration focused on easing the financial burdens for veterans in the St. Louis area. The partnership will bring $1M in debt relief to local veterans and is made possible through Verizon’s partnership with ForgiveCo, a company specializing in consumer debt cancellation. This effort is part of a larger $3M program across three cities, including St. Louis, Milwaukee, and Detroit. Each week, from Thanksgiving through Christmas, $250,000 in veteran debt will be forgiven in each of these cities.

Verizon Great Lakes Market President Andy Brady said, “At Verizon, our commitment to veterans transcends words; it is rooted in meaningful action and unwavering support. We are incredibly proud to collaborate with ForgiveCo, the Milwaukee Bucks, and the St. Louis Blues, as we join forces to alleviate the financial burdens faced by our nation’s veterans. It is not only our responsibility but also our privilege to honor the extraordinary sacrifices made by those who have served. Together, we are dedicated to creating a brighter future for our heroes and ensuring they receive the support they truly deserve.”

As the official 5G and wireless telecommunications partner of the St. Louis Blues, Verizon is committed to using its platform to increase awareness and encourage community support. Both the Blues and the Milwaukee Bucks are actively participating, using their outreach to highlight the campaign’s mission and drive positive change for veterans and their families. Alongside debt relief, Verizon is offering special discounts on mobile and internet plans for veterans and active military members, with a $50 credit available for new smartphone line activations. Verizon has a long-standing commitment to veterans, which has earned the company recognition as a Military Friendly employer, having hired more than 8,000 veteran employees.
