Newegg Premier Program Rewards Top Market Sellers with Enhanced Customer Experiences

Choice and seamless integration are two core competencies that must comprise the foundation of any successful customer experience. This is especially true with regards to the changing habits and expectations of modern consumers.
 
Added to this mix is, of course, the overall value proposition that such a customer experience must also deliver. It may not be easy, but it is all part of the new “normal” that brands and marketers must embrace.
 
In this respect, Newegg, the leading North American electronics-focused e-retailer, is making strides in the right direction.
 
Launched in 2001, Newegg currently engages over 28 million registered users who routinely use the site to review and purchase a wide range of computer and electronic hardware and software products.
 
And in order to further earn and solidify the customer loyalty of both tech-aficionados and mainstream e-shoppers alike, Newegg is improving its shopping experience by brining more choice and better integrations to users through a new program.
 
The new CX initiative is called the Newegg’s Premier Program, and it will specifically engage marketplace sellers.
 
“Newegg Premier delivers a superior shopping experience to our most valued customers, and is now even better with more products – specifically those from marketplace sellers now able to participate,” said Merle McIntosh, Newegg’s SVP of Sales and Marketing. “The e-commerce competitive landscape is defined by the experience offered to customers and sellers, and Newegg has now raised the bar on both fronts.”
 
However, the Newegg Premier Seller program is not open to all sellers, which will add an additional bit of exclusivity to the program.
 
To become a member, sellers interested in joining the program must first undergo an initial assessment. Sellers will be evaluated according to number of key performance indicators related to customer satisfaction ratings, inventory metrics, and shipping efficiency.
 
Among those with a customer satisfaction rating of 4 or above, sellers must also keep inventory stock levels at 100% and ship 90% of all orders within 24 hours.
 
Those that make the cut will be privy to a host of exclusive benefits including:
 
• Increased product exposure with exclusive Premier-eligible marketing opportunities such as e-blasts and homepage promotions
 
• Improved overall seller operational performance and customer satisfaction
 
• Enhanced qualifying product listing with the distinctive “Premier” badge indicating Newegg’s most trusted sellers
