Uber Becomes Official Rideshare  and On-Demand Delivery Partner for 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games

Uber has been announced as the official rideshare and on-demand delivery partner for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games, as well as for Team USA. As part of the partnership, Uber will provide advanced mobility solutions — incorporating rideshare vehicles, bikes, and scooters — to help athletes, fans, and staff easily navigate the city during the Games. Additionally, Uber Eats will enhance the event experience by offering food delivery within select venues and direct meal delivery to athletes in the Olympic and Paralympic Villages.

This collaboration supports LA28’s commitment to a “transit-first” Games, with Uber working closely with city officials and transit agencies to ease congestion and improve mobility across Greater Los Angeles. The partnership will leverage Uber’s technology to optimize traffic flow and streamline access to venues. Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi emphasized the importance of helping people move and connect at a global scale, while LA28 Chairperson and President Casey Wasserman highlighted the alignment between Uber’s innovation and the Games’ mission to create an unparalleled experience.

Beyond transportation and food delivery, Uber is also teaming up with NBCUniversal to support media coverage of the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Games and LA28 Games. Through co-created content, the partnership will spotlight athletes and their stories, adding a new dimension to the Olympic experience.

Burger King is Introducing ‘Whopper by You’ Platform

Burger King is kicking off an interactive platform, “Whopper by You”, launching on July 15, 2025. This platform invites customers to submit their own ideas for new sandwiches, giving diners a direct hand in influencing menu innovation.

The first customer-inspired sandwich to debut is the BBQ Brisket Whopper, a smoky twist on the classic that layers slow‑cooked barbecue brisket, crispy onions, American cheese, sweet‑and‑smoky barbecue sauce, plus the standard flame‑grilled beef patty topped with lettuce, tomato, and mayo.

Uniquely, Burger King is offering this BBQ Brisket Whopper in both regular and Whopper Jr. sizes, priced at $7.99 and $4.79. The company emphasizes that the platform is an ongoing initiative under the “Have It Your Way” ethos, where the next customer‑designed Whopper could be curated and served in future rotations.
