Spirit Halloween Expands into Holiday Market with Spirit Christmas Stores

Spirit Halloween, widely known for its seasonal pop-up Halloween stores, is branching out into the holiday season with a new venture called "Spirit Christmas." Ten new stores will open across the Northeast, filled with holiday gifts and decorations, a life-sized gingerbread village, and Santa himself. The 10 locations will operate through the end of the year, starting with the flagship store in Mays Landing, NJ, opening on October 18, followed by nine additional stores launching in early November.

In an interview with CNBC, a Spirit Halloween spokesperson said, “Spirit Christmas is a new concept for us, and we’re hopeful it will resonate with our customers. Our goal is to create a festive retail experience that captures the spirit of the season, much like we do for Halloween.”

Each Spirit Christmas store will offer an immersive holiday experience, including activities like photos with a live Santa or writing letters to the North Pole. The concept aims to capture the excitement of the holiday season in a way similar to how Spirit Halloween engages customers for Halloween.

Domino’s Relaunches Popular Emergency Pizza Promotion with New Brand Partnerships

Domino’s Pizza has announced the return of its Emergency Pizza promotion, allowing customers to claim a free medium two-topping pizza after placing an initial order before January 19, 2025. The promotion is a twist on the classic BOGO (buy-one-get-one) offer and will now feature partnerships with Amazon, Twitch, and the nail polish brand Olive & June. Domino’s first unveiled the Emergency Pizza initiative in October of last year, along with a $1M pizza giveaway to customers with student debt. Domino’s Pizza CEO Russell Weiner said the Emergency Pizza deal outperformed any BOGO deal he’s done, increasing orders and bringing in new loyalty members.

Domino’s Senior Vice President and Chief Brand Officer Kate Trumbull said, “Not only is Domino’s Emergency Pizza program back, but it’s in more places than ever. We’re excited to launch a series of new, unexpected brand partnerships that consumers can have fun with. Domino’s has partnered with Amazon and Twitch, as well as Olive & June to bring Emergency Pizza to life in two completely different, yet very entertaining ways.”

The latest version of the Emergency Pizza promotion will integrate into Fortnite via a partnership with Amazon and Twitch, allowing players to interact with Domino’s in-game. In addition to the gaming tie-in, Domino’s has teamed up with Olive & June for a nail art kit inspired by the brand. The Emergency Pizza kit will be available starting October 17 and includes exclusive red and blue nail polish, along with pizza-themed nail stickers. Olive & June will also sell a Domino’s-themed press-on nail set featuring creative styles like “I Heart Pizza French” and “Extra Cheese Please.”
