Join Erbert & Gerbert’s Rewards Program, Get a Sandwich 

Sandwich fans can receive a tasty reward simply by downloading the new Erbert & Gerbert’s Ordering and Rewards App and joining the brand’s Rewards program. New members are invited to pick out the sandwich of their choice as part of a promotion to entice fans of the sandwich chain to sign up. For current Rewards members, a free sandwich deal is extended to those who refer a friend to the program. Once the friend makes a purchase through the Rewards App, the deal is presented to the referring member. The more successful referrals made, the more free sandwiches earned.

Domino’s: Hungry for More and Saying “Yes!” in 2024 

Domino’s is charging into 2024 — with an eye on 2025 — under a bold new company strategy called “Hungry for More.” The brand counts its relaunched loyalty program, buzzworthy promotions that drive interest over sales — like the “Emergency Pizza” initiative, its new partnership with Uber, and plans to expand to other delivery platforms all as part of its strategy to say “yes!” to initiatives that can foster customer engagement and drive loyalty.  

The brand that famously hasn’t leveraged third-party delivery partnerships has finally embraced the option. When its exclusive agreement with Uber Eats ends after July 2024, the pizza chain will begin to launch the brand on other delivery platforms.  

“DoorDash is going to have different customers from Uber, especially folks within their loyalty program. For us, it pays to break that exclusivity,” says Russell Weiner, Domino’s CEO. 

Plans to further leverage the brand’s newly revamped loyalty program are underway. Domino’s seeks to reengage lapsed members while attracting customers who might be operating on a tight budget.  

“The minimum order to get points in our program used to be $10, and our national offer on carry-out is $7.99, so all these value-oriented carry-out customers weren’t getting points. We lowered that threshold to $5.00… we’ve made the brand more accessible,” says Weiner.

CVS Reveals an Evolution of Loyalty Program: Two Membership Tiers 

CVS Pharmacy® has announced a change to its loyalty program, creating two membership tiers: ExtraCare® and ExtraCare Plus™ (formerly known as CarePass ®). While there is no fee to join at the ExtraCare level, customers joining at the ExtraCare Plus tier pay a small fee of $5 per month.  

“Now, instead of having to join various programs to unlock all the savings available to them, we’ve made it easier for our members and patients to choose from our two-tiered offerings and access the benefits that best fit their needs, including new same-day delivery and pharmacy rewards, which are now a core benefit,” says Zach Dennett, Vice President of Loyalty, Omnichannel and Hispanic Formats, CVS Health. 

  • ExtraCare: Members at this tier enjoy special sale prices, personalized “Deals For You,” 2% back in ExtraBucks Rewards®, and more — including benefits that are part of the ExtraCare Pharmacy & Health Rewards® program. Another new benefit is the chance to earn more quickly, such as the $2 ExtraBucks Reward earned for every 4 prescriptions filled. 

  • ExtraCare Plus: This tier provides the same benefits as ExtraCare, free same-day delivery, and gives members a $10 monthly bonus reward. 

Changes to CVS’ loyalty program were developed based on customer feedback. Program members are encouraged to use the CVS Pharmacy app and opt-in to receive offers for additional savings.
