Cinemark’s Summer Movie Clubhouse Returns
 
Cinemark is bringing back its Summer Movie Clubhouse program to the delight of movie-loving families. From June 10 through August 15, moviegoers can enjoy discounts on family-friendly flicks. Cinemark’s program is sponsored by Illumination’s “Despicable Me 4” and DreamWorks Animation’s “The Wild Robot.” Both films belong to Universal Pictures. Tickets for the program go on sale May 15 and can be purchased on the theater’s website, via the Cinemark app, or at the box office.
 
“Passion for Cinemark Summer Movie Clubhouse grows each year, so we are thrilled to add an extra two weeks of moviegoing fun to this summer’s program to satisfy guests’ big-screen demand,” said Wanda Gierhart Fearing, Cinemark Chief Marketing and Content Officer. “Customers love the affordable, out-of-home entertainment experience Summer Movie Clubhouse provides year after year, with approximately 50 percent of tickets sold in 2023 purchased by customers who participated in the prior year’s program.”
 
Each Wednesday morning, kids and families can enjoy movies presented by the Summer Movie Clubhouse program in 300+ Cinemark theaters across the U.S. Certain theaters will also offer movies through the program on Mondays and Thursdays. Films to be shown during the program include “How to Train Your Dragon,” “Migration,” “Hotel Transylvania,” “Paddington 2,” and many more.

Marriott Vacations Worldwide Welcomes Make-A-Wish Children and Families
 
In partnership with Make-A-Wish, Marriott Vacations Worldwide is celebrating its 100th wish granted. As a sponsor of the charitable organization, Marriott provides memorable vacations for kids facing critical illnesses and their families. In April, during “World Wish Month,” Marriott hosted young Layla Catts and her family at the Sheraton Vistana Resort in Orlando. Nine-year-old Layla enjoyed a VIP pool party provided by the staff, as well as a petting zoo and a pony ride.
 
“At Marriott Vacations Worldwide, we know how meaningful vacations can be,” said John Geller, President and CEO, Marriott Vacations Worldwide. “It’s incredible to see the difference our teams make in the lives of these children and their families through this partnership.”
 
Since 2022, Marriott Vacations Worldwide’s Orlando resort has granted seven wish stays. Two more are planned. To date, in 2024, over 25 wish families have benefitted from Marriott Vacations Worldwide’s partnership with Make-A-Wish. The brand plans to welcome more families throughout the year.

Wag! Rebrands Dog Food Advisor Website with User-friendly Design
 
Wag! revealed a rebrand of pet food review website Dog Food Advisor (DFA). The enhanced website will still feature balanced reviews while providing pet parents with science-based information on pet products and news impacting their pets, such as pet food recalls.
 
“The Dog Food Advisor rebrand is a major step forward in our mission to become the most trusted resource for pet parents everywhere,” said Garrett Smallwood, CEO and Chairman of Wag! “By creating a more engaging and user-friendly platform, we’re not only making the pet food experience more enjoyable and valuable for pet owners but also strengthening our partnerships with leading brands like Chewy, The Farmer’s Dog, and Ollie. Ultimately, this allows us to tap deeper into the vast potential of the pet food TAM.”
 
A Dog Food Calculator is also provided on the DFA website. The calculator is designed to give pet parents personalized recommendations on what to feed their dogs. The calculator available on the website is a white-labeled version of DFA’s proprietary one, and plans are underway to invite additional partners to participate in the near future.
