Basket Robbins Revamps App To Allow Mobile Ordering, Speedy Pickup

Baskin Robbins announced it is rolling out new updates to its app to allow nationwide mobile ordering on the majority of its menu items, including ice cream scoops, sundaes, and frozen drinks, as well as its ice cream cakes. The new update also means customers can pick up their items in as little as 15 minutes. Before the update, customers had to wait 24 to 48 hours for pickup, and only certain items like ice cream cakes and a few other select items could be ordered ahead.

“When we set out to evolve the BR App experience, we kept digital convenience and guest feedback top-of-mind,” explained Nicole Boutwell, senior director for customer marketing & brand experience for Baskin Robbins. “With these expanded capabilities to our app, guests can enjoy their favorites faster and unlock new ways to celebrate all of life’s moments with ice cream.”

The Canton, Massachusetts-based ice cream chain has more than 7,600 locations globally under the umbrella of Atlanta-based Inspire Brands. Baskin Robbins hopes to entice its ice cream fans to use the new app by offering a $3 discount on purchases over $10, available through May 17, 2024, via their app. Users should enter the code TASTY when applying their discount. Individual franchises are also encouraged to ask their customers to use the Baskin Robbins app rather than a third-party delivery service to record customer order histories and data for personalized incentives down the road. Using the BR App also helps customers avoid third-party service charges.
