San Diego Wave FC and Alaska Airlines Form Partnership 

The San Diego Wave FC formed a partnership with Alaska Airlines, delivering additional benefits for fans of the team flying out of the San Diego International Airport. Those flying on Alaska Airlines and donning Wave FC apparel will receive perks like priority boarding.

Pepsi® Pineapple Returns to Little Caesars® in LTO 

Pepsi® Pineapple, a limited-edition flavor, is back at Little Caesars® for the second year. The limited-time offer (LTC) delivers a delicious deal to soft drink and pizza fans. In a special offer, pizza and Pepsi lovers can enjoy Pepsi® Pineapple and an order of Little Caesars Crazy Puffs™ until July 14, 2024.  

“Little Caesars fans love coming in for exclusive flavors they can’t get anywhere else—we saw that last year within the first week of releasing Pepsi® Pineapple in restaurants,” said Greg Hamilton, Chief Marketing Officer, Little Caesars. “This summer, we’re offering customers the ultimate combo of flavor and value with our Crazy Puffs and Pepsi® Pineapple deal to celebrate its triumphant return.” 

The beverage is available in a new 20-ounce bottle. Pairing Pepsi® Pineapple with Crazy PuffsTM, released in March 2024, capitalizes on the success of the mini pizzas after the tasty handheld treat went viral throughout social channels.

Cracker Barrel Continues Brand Transformation with Menu Item Tests 

In an effort to update its menu to reengage guests, Cracker Barrel revealed 20 new menu items in 14 Texas restaurants to determine their popularity. The homey restaurant chain known for its porch Rockers and Peg Games is focused on transforming the brand. Cracker Barrel CEO Julie Felss-Masino has acknowledged that the goal of the brand’s overhaul is to “modernize and refresh the Cracker Barrel brand” while retaining its comfortable charm. 

“For nearly 55 years, guests have known and loved us for our authentic, homestyle cooking, and that’s not going away; we’ve only added more flavor and crave to the menu and made it easier to navigate,” reported Cammie Spillyards-Schaefer, Senior VP of Operations for Cracker Barrel. “We look forward to gaining valuable feedback from both our guests and employees on the test.”  

Menu items being tested include Hashbrown Casserole Shepherd’s Pie, Chicken n’ Dumplin Soup, and Banana Pudding, among others. These select dishes will be available through August 5, 2024, at the Texas locations.
