The Crowne Plaza in Copenhagen near the main airport starting next week will let guests cycle for the chance to win a free meal.

The Danish hotel is testing a pedal-power electricity generation scheme that may or may not catch on widely - but at the very least is generating headlines for the hotel. The hotel is installing two exercise bicycles hooked up to generators, so that when people start pedaling, they can produce some electrcity, Reuters reports.

Paying hotel guests who participate - and produce enough electricity - will win a meal worth about $44, the story says.
