AUSTIN, Texas, Jan. 14, 2011—The NBA’s Dallas Mavericks and Txtstation Mobile Marketing have announced a partnership to engage fans with a comprehensive mobile marketing campaign. Mavs fans will be able to interact with the team in-arena and on game broadcasts via their mobile phones, and in turn, the Mavericks will encourage participants to join their mobile text club.

Txtstation will use its proprietary technology to produce real-time, interactive HD graphics for games at American Airlines Center. Fans will be able to cast their vote on live polls and participate in picture- and text-to-screen features. Fans can also participate in text messaging polls on the club’s local television broadcasts.

Beyond the initial screen interaction, Mavs fans can remain in direct contact with the team by signing up for text alerts. Txtstation and the Mavericks have created a variety of text clubs, allowing fans to customize what updates they want to receive. Fans can sign up via text messaging on their mobile phones or online at http://www.mavs.com.  Text clubs consist of score updates, game alerts, events and player appearances, promotions, Mavericks news, ticket offers and MavGear.com merchandise offers.
