Purple Announces Partnership with Preeminent Retailer Raymour & Flanigan
Purple Innovation, Inc., the creator of the Purple Mattress, has announced a partnership with Raymour & Flanigan, the largest furniture and mattress brand in the Northeast. This means the Purple Hybrid and select Purple Hybrid Premier mattress models will be available in all Raymour & Flanigan Showrooms and Outlets. All of Purple’s products will be available on RaymourFlanigan.com. More products are expected to become available in-store as the partnership continues. “Raymour & Flanigan is a top-tier retailer and we’re excited to partner with their brand,” Joe Megibow, Purple CEO, said in a release. “This partnership will help us offer customers in the Northeast a high-touch experience when shopping for a Purple mattress.”

Breaking the trend: IKEA reports a decrease in climate footprint
The IKEA Sustainability Report FY19, released Thursday, describes how IKEA tackles global challenges such as climate change, unsustainable consumption, and inequalities. “We are on an exciting journey to inspire and enable more people to live healthier and more sustainable lives, while at the same time, create a positive impact for people, society and the planet,” Lena Pripp-Kovac, Chief Sustainability Officer, Inter IKEA Group, said in a release. “FY19 marks an important milestone as this is the first year where we continued to grow – but our climate footprint decreased. With 6.5 percent growth in sales, we managed to decrease our climate footprint by 4.3 percent in absolute terms. This is good news, especially since we know that we need to do so much more to reach our commitments for 2030.”

Kansas City Chiefs season ticket member Leigh Ann Friedrich entered the team’s Super Bowl sweepstakes through the Chiefs Kingdom Rewards program – which is free for all season ticket members – and won tickets to the big game. The weekend culminated in the victory Chiefs Kingdom had been awaiting for 50 years. “It was truly a once in a lifetime experience,” Friedrich said. “I don’t think we could ever top it.”
 
Lidl Dangling New Rewards for Frequent Shoppers
“Lidl U.S., which uses a gamified mobile loyalty rewards program incentivizing shopper trips and spending goals, is challenging shoppers to play more—and spend more,” according to a Grocery Business article. “Beginning March 1, users of Lidl’s MyLidl app will be eligible to hit more reward plateaus on their way to achieving higher monthly spending goals. Lidl also said it will have new opportunities to win rewards every month.”

Uber Eats head steps down as company focuses on making meal deliveries profitable
“Jason Droege, the Uber exec who launched Eats in December 2015 and helped grow it into the company's second-largest revenue source behind its core ride-hailing business, announced Tuesday that he is stepping down from his role as head of Eats,” a CNN article states. “Eats is a huge part of Uber’s future, and I don’t believe any of it would have been possible without Jason,” Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi said in a tweet on Tuesday.
