Southeastern Grocers (SEG), parent company of Winn-Dixie and Harveys Supermarket, is closing out 2025 by reflecting on a milestone year marked by deep community impact, national recognition, and a sharpened focus on Florida.
As the grocer celebrated 100 years of service, it honored its heritage while laying the groundwork for its next chapter, continuing to serve neighborhoods with care, value, and purpose. Throughout 2025, SEG donated more than $2.8 million to causes including hunger relief, disaster response, and community health, reinforcing its role as a trusted neighborhood partner.
The company also earned 69 national industry awards, recognizing excellence in value, service, and innovation. Looking ahead, SEG is channeling that momentum into reinvestment across its core markets, positioning itself for growth while staying rooted in the communities it serves.
Southeastern Grocers Chairman and CEO Anthony Hucker said, “Our incredible achievements this year underscore a defining moment in our history as we celebrated 100 years of serving our communities while setting a solid foundation to evolve for the future. As our first century draws to a close, we step into our second with optimism, gratitude, and a clear sense of purpose rooted in our unwavering belief in the power of community.” Hucker continued by stating, “We remain deeply committed to enriching neighborhoods, supporting local families, and being a trusted partner in both everyday moments and times of need. Looking ahead to 2026, we enter the next chapter grounded in our values, carrying a century of legacy and stepping boldly into a future full of purpose and possibility.”
The grocer unveiled a refreshed store in St. Cloud, Florida, and opened a new Williston location – its first new Florida store opening since announcing its transformation plans. Built and opened in just 45 days, the Williston store reflects SEG’s commitment to delivering a refreshed shopping experience centered on value, quality, and customer care.
SEG’s century of service was further underscored by widespread recognition for its Own Brand portfolio, loyalty program, and social impact. The grocer earned accolades from USA Today and Newsweek, while continuing robust charitable partnerships with organizations such as Feeding America and the American Red Cross.
As we enter 2026, SEG enters its next century with gratitude, optimism, and a renewed commitment to enriching lives and strengthening communities across its footprint.
