John Deere Relaunches GreenFleet Loyalty Rewards

John Deere has relaunched a loyalty program called GreenFleet Loyalty Rewards, which targets devoted customers. Billed as an industry-exclusive program, GreenFleet Loyalty Rewards is designed to reward loyal John Deere customers and help them manage their equipment more easily and cost-effectively.

“We are fortunate to have many loyal customers, so it’s only right that we pay them back for their commitment with the most comprehensive rewards program in the industry,” Steve Wilhelmi, tactical marketing manager for John Deere Commercial Mowing, told Loyalty 360. “The GreenFleet Loyalty Rewards program offers discounts, financing, and exclusive offers that will help our customers manage their costs and receive extra benefits. It’s our way of saying thank you for your business.”

John Deere’s GreenFleet Loyalty Rewards program has been available to customers for many years, Wilhelmi said, but company officials sought ways to enhance the offering.

“Through dealer and customer feedback, we looked for ways to improve the program and reward our most loyal customers,” he explained. “The program has evolved from a discount program to a reward, loyalty, and discount program all-in-one. Customers wanted to know what their discounts were upfront and wanted more time to build their discount. GreenFleet Loyalty Rewards now does both.”

Customers who purchase two eligible products can qualify for a new GreenFleet membership.  Membership is valid for 24 months. Customers who purchase two qualifying units every 24 months can have their membership automatically renewed.

As GreenFleet Loyalty Rewards program members, customers are entitled to a number of benefits, including discounts, incentives, financing and promotions.

Discounts – Members receive discounts on a variety of John Deere equipment, including commercial mowers, utility vehicles, compact tractors, garden tractors, and commercial worksite products. Discounts are scaled by how many units a customer purchases in a two-year period. All GreenFleet members also receive a 10% discount off parts and workshop products.

John Deere Landscapes – GreenFleet members who are also John Deere Landscapes customers will receive offers on landscape supplies like irrigation, lighting, nursery and other materials.

Financing – Through John Deere Financial, GreenFleet members receive access to preferred financing offers, like low-rate financing, leasing options, payment plans, and equipment insurance.

Exclusive benefits – As GreenFleet members, customers will receive regular email offers, such as John Deere attachments discounts, John Deere Gifts coupons, and preferred partner discounts.

GreenFleet membership is based on qualification. Active membership starts with the purchase of two qualifying products. Once that initial qualification is met, members are automatically enrolled for four years. Membership is renewed with additional purchases. The more equipment purchased, the greater the benefits received.

GreenFleet Loyalty Rewards is unique, Wilhelmi said, because it covers a variety of John Deere product categories from commercial mowing equipment to utility vehicles, compact utility tractors to garden tractor, and even commercial worksite products. There are over 60 model categories to choose from.

What’s more, Wilhelmi said GreenFleet offers a 10% Parts and Workshop discount to all members, “which is important in helping businesses reduce their maintenance costs.”

Lastly, customers can receive exclusive member offers via email that are unique to GreenFleet members. These exclusives include: special John Deere Financial rates, discounts at JohnDeereGifts.com, and PowerGard extended warranty discounts.
