Evo Looks to Loge Co. to Elevate Customer Engagement in Era of Amazon

Officials at Seattle-based evo plan to survive during this era of Amazon and online shopping. One significant way evo plans to do that, and elevate its customer engagement initiatives, is through a partnership with Loge Co., an outdoor rec and real estate startup.

To align with evo’s greater mission of being more than just a leader as an action sports and outdoor retailer, and to grow evoTrips and community ties, it aligned a strategic partnership with Loge Co, now supporting Loge Co. with financial resources and administrative support to aid in the development of future Loge properties around the U.S.

Loge Co. opened its first property this summer in Westport, WA, as a one-stop-shop for outdoor enthusiasts looking for access to world-class cold-water surfing. evo initially partnered with Loge Co., hosting an exclusive evo Performance Demo Center, offering exclusive gear to Loge goers. After three months, Loge became a much sought-after destination for local and international travelers looking for the perfect place for adventure/exploration/surfing, and, as a result, evo jumped at the opportunity to grow its partnership with the Loge team even more before expansion took off.

“The timing of this partnership couldn’t be better,” Johannes Ariens, co-founder of Loge Co., told Loyalty360. “After our first quarter in business, we surpassed all our performance projections and have greatly accelerated our future growth plans with the strong potential of having as many as three new locations either open or in construction within the next year.”

Evo will provide financial resources and general support and guidance on capital raises, and real estate development for future Loge Co. properties. What’s more, Evo will provide administrative support in the form of shared office space for Loge at evo HQ, and direct consultation and collaboration within evo’s Marketing,
e-commerce, HR, Accounting. and Business Development departments.

Loge will continue to operate independent of evo, but this integration will greatly enhance the opportunities to collaborate and develop shared plans between Loge Co and evo, as well as provide Loge with access to evo’s employee base for strategic guidance.

evo and Loge will continue to build on the success of the evo Performance Demo and Rental Centers through expansion to new sites, while developing new programs and offers to build loyalty among their respective customers. What’s more, evo will work with Loge Co. to integrate other areas of the evo business, including evoTrip adventure travel.

“Partnering with Loge is a perfect fit for evo,” evo founder Bryce Phillips told Loyalty360. “Their values are our values and in our collective DNA, the focus on building community, sharing our love for the sports and lifestyle, and having a positive impact on a business are front and center. Moreover, deals like these could make all of the sense in the world on paper, but the foundation was imperative as we look to achieve at a high level together. We feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to leverage evo and our shared passion to help drive Loge forward with great partners.”

Ariens added: “This has been a pretty rapid growth curve for us and, although exciting, can be rough. With evo and Evolution Properties by our sides offering mentorship, financial flexibility, and administrative assistance, not to mention some epic collaborations, we can move confidently into our next chapter of as a stronger and more sustainable company quickly forging out its position within the outdoor active lifestyle market.”
