Southwest Airlines continues to spread its wings by acquiring AirTran Airways while keeping its commitment to excellent customer service. Southwest, known for its easy to understand low-cost structure, is now the largest low-fare domestic and international airline. With the new acquisition of AirTran Airways, Southwest Airlines is expanding its loyalty programs to give frequent flyers more choices in how they use their rewards. Members can now use their loyalty rewards to access 97 destinations including Mexico and the Caribbean.
