Stripped to its concrete rafters and struts during Hurricane Katrina the former Gulf Towers Building, a coastal landmark of the 1960’s and the city’s first high-rise was destroyed. Following the aftermath and a $7 million dollar renovation in a classically modern design, Four Points emerged from the depths of the waters from Hurricane Katrina rebuilt to arrive just in time for a national economic recession to be followed by and in the center of the BP Oil Crisis debacle. Four Points was resurrected on the outside but....
