Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has completed its integration of La Quinta Systems into the larger Wyndham family of brands. Following last week’s migration from legacy technology systems, La Quinta’s more than 900 hotels are now operating on the same central reservation, property management, loyalty, digital, and call-center platforms as Wyndham’s 19 other hotel brands.

“We are extremely proud of our teams’ tremendous effort to accomplish this monumental transition, and we are excited to give La Quinta franchisees access to our state-of-the-art, cloud-based technology platform and to welcome La Quinta loyalty members to Wyndham Rewards,” says Geoff Ballotti, President and CEO of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.

He adds, “We are confident that franchisees will recognize the stability, security and increased global distribution of our technology platform, and that La Quinta Returns members will appreciate the simplicity and generosity of our world-class Wyndham Rewards loyalty program.”

The integration of La Quinta systems had been in the planning and testing phase for months. It was recently implemented over a 10-hour period by a cross-functional team at Wyndham. The company believes this to be the largest same-day systems migration in the history of the hospitality industry.

As a result of this transition, guests can now browse and book La Quinta hotels on Wyndham’s website, WyndhamHotels.com. La Quinta franchisees also receive improved reservation distribution, real-time rate management, stronger data security, increased systems stability, and lower up-front technology costs.

“We’re incredibly excited about what these enhancements mean for our members, as they’re a direct response to what they told us they value most,” says Eliot Hamlisch, SVP of Worldwide Loyalty and Partnerships at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. “As champions of the everyday traveler, our goal is to deliver a simple, generous program that offers rich, meaningful rewards alongside one of the largest, most diverse redemption portfolios in the world.”
