Shell is kicking off the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series with a new promotion designed to reward both racing fans and everyday drivers. The promotion began with the season opener in Daytona. Members of the Shell Fuel Rewards program are being rewarded with 22 cents per gallon on any grade of Shell gasoline when they opt in and fuel up on any official Cup Series race day. The discount applies across the 10-month season, running from February through November.
Shell General Manager of Mobility Marketing North America, Zoë Baldwin, said, “We are so thrilled to be bringing this offer not only to motor racing fans, who are some of the most loyal fans in all of sports, but also to consumers as an introduction to the sport. The Race Day Rewards program is unique in that it rewards all fans and general consumers alike, is simple to opt in to, and provides 37 opportunities to save at the pump all season long.”
Drivers who haven’t already signed up for Fuel Rewards can do so by downloading the Shell App and enrolling in the program. Once signed up and opted in, members can redeem the 22¢-per-gallon discount at participating Shell stations on each of the 37 scheduled race days. The offer includes all gasoline grades, including Shell V-Power® NiTRO+ Premium, giving customers consistent savings opportunities throughout the racing season.
Team Penske No. 22 Driver, Joey Logano, said, “I believe that Shell provides many of the highest quality fuels and lubricants in the business. Now, with this amazing program, everyone has 37 opportunities, all season, to save 22 cents off per gallon on the scheduled race day! Sundays, and sometimes Saturdays, are special to me because I get to do what I love, but now fans can feel good about heading to the pump on race day!”
With simple enrollment and multiple chances to save at the pump, the initiative delivers season-long value and aligns fuel savings with the excitement of race day.
