Redbox listened to its customers and responded.

Billed as America’s destination for new-release entertainment, Redbox has announced the launch of Redbox Play Pass, a point-based loyalty program that gives Redbox customers a new way to earn free movie nights.

Customer feedback played a pivotal role in the creation of this new loyalty program for Redbox.

“Our customers asked for a loyalty program, and today we’re delivering with the launch of Redbox Play Pass,” Mike Wokosin, vice president of digital marketing at Redbox, said in a release. “We’ve seen tremendous response to our beta program, and we’re excited to give consumers another way to keep up with all the great new releases."

Redbox Play Pass members earn 10 points for each movie or game they rent, and when they reach 100 points, they’ll receive a credit good for a one-day movie rental. There’s no limit to the number of credits that can be earned. Members also will get free movie nights on their birthdays and Redbox Play Pass anniversaries, plus other surprises and exclusives along the way. For a limited time, consumers will receive a free one-night DVD rental just for signing up for Redbox Play Pass.

Redbox offers convenient access to high-quality new release content at the best value. The latest new releases available at Redbox include Neighbors, The Fault in Our Stars, and Godzilla.
