The Australian arm of loyalty marketing company Carlson Marketing has named Richard Peake as its MD effective July 4.

Peake joins the company from Montreal’s Groupe Aeroplan where he has been for the last five years, most recently in the role of group leadership director for the company’s investment in the AeroMexico FFP,  based in Mexico City. Peake will also take on the role of vice president for Carlson Marketing Asia Pacific. 

The company has appointed him to the role after “an exhaustive five-month search”, according to a release. Peake fills the role recently vacated by Michael O’Sullivan who is now president of Carlson Marketing Canada.

Karl Schuster (pictured), president of Carlson Marketing Asia Pacific said: “I am delighted that we have secured Richard to lead the business in Australia. He has a unique combination of experience which will help drive our clients’ strategies for maximising return on customer to new levels.
