Curran as vice president, group creative director for Banking and Finance in its Advanced Communications Group (ACG). In this newly created position, Curran will be responsible for managing all aspects of ACG’s engagements with clients in the retail banking sector, including conceiving and executing communications strategies for customer engagement and business development.
Curran brings to Merkle more than 15 years of creative leadership experience across a wide range of industries, including financial services, publishing, hi-tech and business services. Prior to joining Merkle, he was content director and marketing strategist at TDO Communications, Inc., an Irvington, N.Y.-based marketing communications agency specializing in blue-chip clients. Curran previously served as vice president of marketing at North Greenwich Financial where he helped lead the design and launch strategy for Splender, a web-based consumer lender. His background also includes tenures at marquee agencies such as Wunderman and Ogilvy & Mather.
