MasterCard Engages SNL Fans With New Credit Card

MasterCard is trying to engage with fans of the entertainment industry, specifically, aficionados of the iconic Saturday Night Live.

NBCUniversal Enterprises and Broadway Video Enterprises, MasterCard, and Alliance Data Retail Services have partnered to create a credit card offering that embraces SNL’s spirit of fun, entertainment and surprises.

The SNL MasterCard will reward cardholders for purchases they’re already making while also providing access to exclusive entertainment experiences–including SNL tickets and offers, along with robust everyday features and benefits.

The SNL MasterCard Credit Card, with no annual fee, provides unprecedented rewards within entertainment and exclusive opportunity for consumers to gain access to the SNL show. In addition to the standard offering where cardholders earn one point for every dollar spent on the card, Saturday Night Live MasterCard cardholders may additionally earn:

Two points for every dollar spent for entertainment purchases

Four points for every dollar spent on Saturday entertainment purchases.

Saturday Night Live tickets and experiences, memorabilia and exclusive merchandise

A personal concierge that will provide customers with special discounts on dining, shopping, travel, and entertainment.

Discounts on entertainment through partners such as Hulu Plus, Dinner Lab and various comedy clubs and special offers at retailers celebrating the 40th season

Access to MasterCard Priceless Cities packages including the ultimate SNL star trip, including airfare to New York, luxury hotel, a personal shopping trip, hair and a pair of “the hardest tickets to get in show business” – seats at a Studio 8H performance of Saturday Night Live
