White Castle Debuts First Fully Automated Airport Kiosk at Boston Logan

White Castle has launched its first dedicated automated airport kiosk at Boston Logan International Airport’s Terminal A, created in collaboration with Evolvending and the Just Baked food kiosk company. The kiosks will provide travelers with quick access to four ready-to-eat slider varieties, including original, cheddar bacon cheese, classic cheese, and chicken and cheese. While the brand’s sliders have appeared in multi-brand kiosks at colleges and hospitals nationwide, the new Crave & Go unit marks White Castle’s first standalone, fully automated system designed exclusively for its iconic products.

White Castle Director of Retail Marketing, Innovation, and Licensing, Sarah Paulson, said, “White Castle is thrilled to bring ‘The Crave’ to Boston Logan and nourishment to travelers at this iconic airport. Our retail division has been bringing sliders to cravers outside of restaurants for nearly 40 years. Now, these same sliders are ready in under two minutes for a hot and tasty meal or snack on the go.” 

White Castle joins a growing wave of restaurant brands exploring automated food solutions in high-traffic, nontraditional locations. Chick-fil-A recently began testing temperature-controlled market fridges in Georgia, and California Pizza Kitchen continues to invest in vending technology. White Castle confirmed that more Crave & Go kiosks will be deployed in travel hubs soon. The company also has a Craver Nation loyalty program that provides exclusive access and rewards to members.

The mobile ticketing platform, Gametime, is kicking off the season with its “12 Days of Gametime” holiday giveaway. The initiative started on December 5 and runs through December 17.
