Viva Resorts by Wyndham, known for its collection of all-inclusive resorts across Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and the Bahamas, announced the launch of Viva Vibe, an entertainment initiative to transform the all-inclusive vacation experience with an array of dynamic parties and productions at each location. Viva Vibe will offer guests a wide range of entertainment options, including live performances, DJ nights, and themed parties such as Latin, Neon, Silent, White, Candy Shop, Foam, and its signature Beach Party.

IHG Hotels & Resorts and Google Cloud Collab Enhances Customer Experience with AI-Powered App Features
 
IHG Hotels & Resorts and Google Cloud announced an expansion of their partnership to enhance the new customer experience with the IHG One Rewards mobile app. Set to launch in the latter half of 2024, the partnership will introduce a generative AI-powered travel planning feature that will allow guests to plan vacations via the app, enhancing the digital guest experience through personalization.
 
“Working with Google Cloud as an AI innovation partner, we’re making trip planning easier and more interactive for prospective travelers,” said Jolie Fleming, Chief Product & Technology Officer, IHG Hotels & Resorts. “Our customized travel planner will use GenAI to help people discover destinations among our more than 6,000 IHG hotels across 19 brands in over 100 countries. Soon, guests will use the IHG One Rewards mobile app as a true mobile travel companion to build a full itinerary and book hotels in a few taps.”
 
The IHG travel planner will cater to both broad and specific guest inquiries, from finding late-night dining near specific hotels to identifying local pet-friendly accommodations and event-specific queries like local jazz shows. Following its launch, additional app features will be rolled out. This initiative is part of IHG’s strategic focus on leveraging technology to boost customer loyalty and engagement.

Choice Hotels Partners with Influencer Jimmy Darts in TikTok Campaign Targeting Millennial and Gen Z Travelers
 
Choice Hotels International is collaborating with popular TikTok influencer Jimmy Darts to launch a marketing campaign to attract millennial and Gen Z travelers. The campaign is part of Choice Hotels’ broader strategy to enhance brand recognition among younger audiences on platforms where they are most active, like TikTok. The TikTok initiative is an extension of Choice’s multichannel campaign, “A Stay for Any You,” launched in January. 
 
“Our partnership with Jimmy Darts on TikTok serves as a powerful tool to engage both [millennial and Gen Z] demographics, as TikTok is widely popular among these generations,” said Noha Abdalla, Chief Marketing Officer for Choice Hotels.
 
Darts boasts 12M-plus followers on TikTok and more than 23M across various platforms. He’s known for his uplifting content and has gained a substantial social media following. The campaign will focus on its Comfort and Cambria hotel brands, spotlighting two giveaways to Texas and Florida. The first trip was an Orlando, Florida, vacation that was awarded to a family that hadn’t traveled in nine years. The second was gifted to a waitress who had never flown before. She was awarded a trip to Austin, Texas. Winners of both trips received a three-night stay at a Choice hotel and $7,500 in travel expenses, a nod to the 7,500 Choice hotels globally.
