Wings and Rings’ spinoff Noble Chicken Opens First Location
Wings and Rings’ new fast-casual spinoff, Noble Chicken, opened its first location on March 10, 2025, in Cincinnati, Ohio. The concept originated from a creative entry in Cincinnati’s ‘Queen of the Wings’ contest, where Wings and Rings submitted under the pseudonym Noble Chicken and won, demonstrating that large brands can produce exceptional food. This success inspired the development of Noble Chicken as a distinct brand.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Noble Chicken operated briefly as a ghost chicken, which, despite limited success, provided valuable insights for the brand’s evolution. The current brick-and-mortar establishment occupies a 1,500-square-foot-space, approximately one-third the size of a typical Wings and Rings location. It features digital menu boards, vibrant branding, and offers ordering options via kiosks or at the counter, with a designated pickup window for app-based orders.
Noble Chicken’s menu offers items like fiery fries, hush puppies, ‘ghost sticks’, and sauces that contain bold and unexpected flavors. The menu will also focus on new chicken sandwiches, tenders, and wings. Currently, Noble Chicken has only one store open, but the company’s expansion plans include a 10-15% annual growth rate, initially focusing on the Cincinnati area before extending to neighboring Midwest regions.
