Target and Shopify Partnership Will Offer Shoppers More Options
Minneapolis-based Target Corporation partnered with Shopify to expand its invite-only, third-party e-commerce Target Plus platform. The collaboration will bring a wider range of trending, high-quality products at competitive prices from popular Shopify merchants, including brands like True Classic and Caden Lane. Target will also be the first major retailer to feature curated Shopify merchants’ products in its brick-and-mortar stores over the next few months. Shopify merchants in the United States can apply to sell on Target Plus through Marketplace Connect.
“Target Plus invites consumers to explore a curated collection of products from vendors we trust, so they can shop our assortment with confidence,” said Cara Sylvester, Executive Vice President and Chief Guest Experience Officer at Target. “Our partnership with Shopify extends the breadth of thoughtfully designed and affordable items available to discover and enjoy as part of Target’s distinctive mix of brands shoppers love.”
Since its launch in 2019, Target Plus has grown to offer more than two million products from more than 1,200 partners, providing everything from home goods to apparel. Consumers shopping on Target Plus benefit from free shipping on orders over $35, free returns, and 5% off with a Target Circle Card.

America’s Biggest Cheapskate Sought by Ollie’s
Closeout merchandiser Ollie’s announced the return of its “America’s Biggest Cheapskate” sweepstakes. The contest is open through July 28, and participants can enter for a chance to win gift cards, merchandise, and a grand prize of $2,500.

Entrants’ photos should be uploaded with completed forms. Twenty-five weekly winners will be chosen to receive gift cards or Ollie’s merchandise. One grand prize winner will receive $2,500 in Ollie’s gift cards and the title of America’s Biggest Cheapskate, announced during National Bargain Hunting Week, August 12-18.

Grubhub Partners with Albertsons Companies for Nationwide Grocery Delivery
Grubhub and Albertsons Companies, Inc. announced a partnership to offer delivery services from nearly 1,800 Albertsons Cos. stores nationwide. It will mark the first national grocery retailer partnership for Grubhub, offering deliveries for participating Albertsons, Jewel-Osco, Safeway, Vons, ACME, Shaw’s, and Tom Thumb customers.
