Sheetz Partners With Fortnite for a Digital Adventure
Sheetz Inc. is venturing into the digital space through a unique collaboration with the online multiplayer game Fortnite. The partnership introduces “Sheetz Run: Only Up!”, a custom Sheetz map where Fortnite players from all over the world can embark on a high-energy adventure. Sheetz is one of the first convenience store operators to integrate an exclusive map into the game. The map is designed to provide players with an immersive and fun experience, combining Sheetz’s signature menu items with the digital world of Fortnite.
Sheetz EVP of Marketing and Supply Chain Ryan Sheetz said, “As a company, our customers are at the heart of everything we do, and we are always looking for innovative ways to engage with our Sheetz Freakz and expand our reach. This opportunity allows us to amplify our brand to individuals worldwide and connect with a new generation of players, showcasing our brand in a fun, adventurous, and immersive way. I can’t wait to dive into this map with my character while snacking on some epic Made-To-Order food!”
The game takes players on a wild journey, starting in a virtual Sheetz parking lot and moving through a surreal world made entirely of Sheetz products. From jumping over sandwiches to climbing mountains of curly fries and swimming through giant soda straws, the game presents an exciting and whimsical way for players to interact with Sheetz’s brand. Sheetz is celebrating the launch by introducing a monthlong challenge with a $25,000 prize pool. Running through February 23, players can submit their fastest “Sheetz Runs” to a Discord server hosted by Umi Games, the partner behind the event. The top 25 players will be awarded prizes, including cash and Fortnite V-Bucks cards.
