McDonald’s Plans to Make Happy Meal Toys More Sustainable
McDonald’s said all toys included in its Happy Meals will be made from more sustainable materials by 2025 world-wide, as large companies look to make their operations more environmentally friendly.
The fast-food chain said it is shifting some of its toys to plant-based materials from plastics made out of fossil fuels. It will also swap in books and cards for figures made out of less sustainable materials. The new toys will begin appearing in the U.S. in January, executives said.
Krystal's New Franchisee To Open First New Restaurant In 15 Years
Krystal Restaurants has added a new franchisee to the system who will be opening the first restaurant by a new franchisee in over 15 years. The newest location will be in Dublin, GA. Yates Hospitality Services, LLC is the franchise partner that is taking on this momentous move for the brand. The restaurant, located at 1624 Veterans Blvd., is slated to open October 2021.

Aramark Expands Community Outreach During 2021 Global Day of Service
