CVS Adds New Benefits to Beauty Loyalty Program
CVS is giving customers more reasons to be loyal to its beauty offerings. The retailer is adding new benefits to its ExtraCare BeautyClub loyalty program, in response to customer feedback for a "more experiential beauty rewards program." 

The new perks include the choice of a free beauty gift each month when members spend $30 on qualifying beauty products. Redeemed in stores or online, program members can select from several options each month, including skin health and wellness-driven brands.
Visa Announces the “Visa Eco Benefits” Sustainability Bundle
Visa announced the launch of Visa Eco Benefits, a new package of sustainability-focused benefits for account issuers designed to enable and encourage their cardholders to engage in sustainable consumption behaviors. The Visa Eco Benefits bundle will be available first in Europe and then rolled out globally during the next year to Visa’s clients. With this new offering, Visa continues to play a leading role in driving sustainable commerce and climate action in the payments industry, supporting its clients’ objectives to meet increasing demand from cardholders to enable sustainable consumption and living.

The Visa Eco Benefits bundle will allow Visa issuers to add sustainability-focused benefits to existing Visa cardholder credit/debit products, enabling cardholders to understand the impact of their spending on the environment, as well as encourage sustainable consumption and behaviors.
Price Chopper/Market 32 And Tops Markets Complete Merger Transaction
With the regulatory review process complete and approval from the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) received, Price Chopper/Market 32 and Tops Markets announced the closure of their merger, as proposed earlier this year.
Under the terms of the agreement, the two companies will be managed locally by their respective leaders and continue to be referred to by their established brand identities, but will be owned and overseen by a new parent company, Northeast Grocery, Inc. As previously announced, Scott Grimmett, the current president and CEO of Price Chopper/Market 32, will lead the new parent company. He will also serve on its board of directors as will Frank Curci, former Tops Markets Chairman and CEO.
SAP Hires Salesforce Exec as Chief Product Officer for Customer Experience
SAP is welcoming a former Salesforce executive to drive product development for its customer experience (CX) portfolio. SAP hired Ritu Bhargava as chief product officer for SAP Customer Experience, effective Nov. 15, according to SAP last month.

SAP said its CX vision is to help companies enable a cohesive customer experience across the entire customer life cycle. With its CX portfolio, SAP is bringing together customer, experience, and operational data to “deliver value to customers.”
