Apple Adds Feature to Limit Phone Time… Wait, What?
The new Apple iOS update will include a feature that lets users monitor, track, and limit their phone time. In a 2017 study, 47 percent of Americans disclosed they couldn’t live without their smart phones, and the phone addiction problem is getting worse with each year and each new model. Craig Federighi, Apple’s SVP of Software Engineering, said in a statement, “We’re offering our users detailed information and tools to help them better understand and control the time they spend with apps and websites, how often they pick up their iPhone or iPad during the day, and how they receive notifications.” In other words, the brand that created the phone that created the app to which the very first person became addicted is now trying to limit that problem within users. If your head hurts, we don’t blame you. Hey wait, maybe there’s an app for that...


In-N-Out Temporarily Closes Texas Stores For What?
No, the popular chain is not going out of business. Nor do they have tainted meat or a massive newsworthy scandal. According to Inc, In-N-Out closed their Texas restaurants on Monday because their hamburger buns were “not up to the highest quality standard.” The unprecedented move is about as unique as it gets in terms of quality control. Of course, there are conspiracy theories flying about the why the brand closed the stores, but considering the brand’s cult-like following and historic commitment to delivering fresh quality food, it’s easy to imagine that the temporary closure was, indeed, simply because of a lack in bun quality. What we do know for sure is that the stores were back the next day with the freshest buns in the state.
