Purpose At Work: How T-Mobile Amplifies Social Impact With Giving Tuesday
On Giving Tuesday (Dec. 3), T-Mobile inspired its customers, fans and employees to engage in online philanthropy. T-Mobile donated 10 meals to Feeding America each time someone tweeted #GivingOnUs. One meal was donated whenever a customer saved a deal on the T-Mobile Tuesdays app. In all, the initiative helped donate 5 million meals to hungry families across the U.S. T-Mobile also funded another 10 million meals with its Slow Cooker Sunday Cookbook initiative through 2019.
Growing number of San Francisco cafes banishing disposable coffee cups
A growing number of coffee houses in the San Francisco area are doing away with paper to-go cups and replacing them with a variety of options – from glass jars to rental mugs and BYO cup policies. What started as a small trend among neighborhood cafes is gaining support from some big names in the city's food and coffee world. This isn’t all that unexpected, as California cities have long been leaders in recycling and passing laws to encourage eco-friendly habits.

JetBlue gifts Mosaic status to some loyal customers for the holidays
Some of JetBlue’s most loyal customers have been rewarded with Mosaic status for 2020 – despite actually being a little short of the threshold. After a reader tipped off The Points Guy (TPG) about this perk, the airline confirmed it was true. In a statement to TPG, JetBlue said, “We were feeling the holiday spirit and wanted to fly it forward. We saw that a small group of our most loyal TrueBlue members were a mere few points away from reaching Mosaic status again for 2020. As a small holiday treat, we surprised them by extending their Mosaic status into the new year.”
