Denver’s Empower Field at Mile High launches self-service concessions
The Denver Broncos have partnered with Aramark, its food and beverage provider, to unveil concessions improvements at Empower Field at Mile High, including Mashgin self-checkout scanners and self-order kiosks. Concession stands on three levels of the stadium have been renovated and modernized and redesigned menu boards and reconfigured speed lines will expedite the ordering and transaction processes. Mashgin artificial intelligence self-checkout scanners allow fans to place the items on the unit, where they are scanned simultaneously for quick payment, significantly increasing speed of service.

Vans Donates Over $1M And Creates The Vans Checkerboard Fund To Fuel Creativity
Vans recently commemorated the inaugural #VansCheckerboardDay and its more than $1 million donation to Imagination.org and announced the creation of the Van Checkerboard Fund, a global grant program that will provide monetary support to qualified charitable organizations that enable creative expression through Vans' core pillars of action sports, art, music and street culture. In observation of Vans Checkerboard Day on November 21, Vans closed its corporate headquarters to encourage employees to join Vans Fans in celebrating and championing creativity in their communities by wearing their iconic checkerboard patterns and taking part in activities that focus on enabling creative expression.

Lord & Taylor is plotting its comeback under new owner Le Tote, starting with a SoHo pop-up shop
The Lord & Taylor brand is making its return to New York, after its flagship store on Fifth Avenue closed earlier this year, following more than 100 years in business. Under its new owner, rental service Le Tote, Lord & Taylor will open a pop-up shop in the SoHo neighborhood of Manhattan from Dec. 11 through Christmas Eve. The shop will be approximately 2,400 square feet.

Some Marriott members are getting the chance to upgrade their loyalty status for their birthday. Select Marriott Rewards members are receiving “elite night credits” on their birthdays. These credits count as a one-night stay for those who are trying to accrue nights and earn loyalty status. The birthday present comes via a link in an email. If you want to receive it, you need to make sure your Marriott communication preferences are opted in for “news & program information,” and your user profile must have your birthday information listed.
