Karen Szaras is the Senior Director of Loyalty and Partnerships at The Vitamin Shoppe. The brand is a finalist for the 2022 Loyalty360 Awards in the Social Impact and Corporate Social Responsibility category.

Szaras has been with the company for five years and is responsible for overseeing the strategy, design and execution of The Vitamin Shoppe’s Healthy Awards Loyalty Program and in-store activations.

By forming strategic partnerships with a variety of non-profits, The Vitamin Shoppe is making huge strides in CSR and giving back to the community as demonstrated by the recent discontinuation of all plastic and paper bags in the store. The store is working to incorporate more certified brands that fight against pollution and utilize sustainable packaging.

In addition to its environmental causes, The Vitamin Shoppe is celebrating its 15th year supporting the non-profit Vitamin Angels. Together, they have raised over $15.2 million to deliver life-changing nutritional support to over 60 million vulnerable mothers and children in underserved communities.
