Jimmy John’s and Chipotle Top a QSR Brand Survey Measuring Millennial Loyalty

Jimmy Johns Loyalty Marketing to millennials is an increasingly high priority item among customer loyalty marketers.

Merchants who maintain frequent communication with loyalty program members see three times more customer visits than those that do not send any communications. Millennials tend to demonstrate brand loyalty for several different dining restaurants. According to a new survey from YouGov, Jimmy John’s, Chipotle, Chick-Fil-A, and Whataburger, respectively, have the highest current millennial customer loyalty among all major fast dining outlets over the past six months.

YouGov’s survey included purchase consideration rates for nearly 30 QSR brands, calculated among each brand’s own current customers, which YouGov defines as someone who has patronized the brand in the past 30 days.

For millennials who already patronize Jimmy John’s, 83% of them say they would consider eating there again the next time they are looking to dine out. The next highest scorers among their own current customers are Chipotle (82%), Chick-Fil-A (78%), and Whataburger (76%).Jimmy Johns Loyalty

What’s more, 64% of millennial customers of Taco Bell, Jack In The Box, and KFC say they would consider purchasing again. Interestingly, among the survey’s Top 15 QSR brands, Burger King and McDonald’s checked in at 14th and 15th, respectively, when it comes to brand loyalty.
