Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced an expanded strategic agreement with Chase, marking a new phase in their long-standing collaboration. The partnership will enhance the World of Hyatt loyalty program, one of the fastest-growing in the global hospitality industry, now boasting over 60 million members.

With membership rising nearly 30% each year since 2017 and 40% more members for each hotel compared to their closest competitors, Hyatt continues to attract engaged travelers who stay more frequently, spend more, and prefer direct bookings.

Hyatt Chief Commercial Officer Mark Vondrasek said, “Our expanded agreement with Chase marks an exciting next chapter in how we grow, reward, and engage with our most loyal travelers. By deepening our collaboration, we’re creating more ways for Chase cardmembers to experience Hyatt’s global portfolio and for World of Hyatt members to be recognized beyond their stays – driving meaningful value for our guests, our owners, and our brands.”

Chase CEO of Card & Connected Commerce Allison Beer added, “We are proud to deepen our over 15-year relationship with Hyatt, expanding our collaboration across not only co-brand, but also our branded cards and Chase Travel. The participation from Hyatt in our luxury hotel program, The Edit, and offering loyalty status to Sapphire Reserve cardmembers allows us to deliver even greater value and flexibility to our mutual customers when they stay at world-class Hyatt properties.”

Starting mid-2026, top-tier Chase Sapphire Reserve and Sapphire Reserve for Business cardholders will enjoy World of Hyatt Explorist status, expanding the reach of Hyatt’s premium travel experiences.

Financially, the deal is expected to contribute approximately $50 million to Hyatt’s adjusted EBITDA in 2025, rising to about $105 million by 2027, alongside a $47 million upfront pre-tax cash payment in late 2025.

Hyatt and Chase plan to continue developing new credit card offerings to enhance value and strengthen loyalty engagement. The World of Hyatt Credit Card and Business Credit Card already provide generous rewards, including up to nine points per dollar spent at Hyatt properties, bonus points for travel and fitness spending, and annual free night awards.

The business card also offers category-based bonus points and Hyatt statement credits. With over 30% growth in card spending and a 25% increase in cardmembers over the past two years, the World of Hyatt card portfolio continues to serve as a key driver of Hyatt’s loyalty ecosystem.
