Fast-casual concept will pilot Mocapay’s mobile marketing suite at its University of Denver location

Denver - September 7, 2010 - Garbanzo Mediterranean Grill, a Denver-based fast-casual restaurant concept offering authentic tastes of the Mediterranean, today announced a strategic partnership with Mocapay, a Denver-based mobile marketing platform that provides merchants with integrated marketing solutions. The partnership will enable Garbanzo to more effectively communicate with guests at its University of Denver (DU) restaurant through mobile marketing.

By leveraging the Mocapay mobile suite, Garbanzo DU guests will have the ability to receive special mobile offers and be entered for select giveaways beginning on September 13. Registering to be a Garbanzo DU text member will not only enable guests to receive exclusive offers and information on their phones, if they register between September 13 and October 29, 2010, they will automatically be entered for a chance to win a throwback snowboard courtesy of Garbanzo DU and Mountain Dew. Guests have the ability to customize every meal with items such as pita, laffas, falafel, shwarma, hummus, seasoned rice, sauces and dressings. All Garbanzo salads and sauces are prepared on-site daily and the pita are baked fresh on-site in every restaurant. Additionally, several ingredients are bought locally and some are imported directly from the Mediterranean region. The menu features simple and easy definitions and descriptions of each item in an effort to make guests feel comfortable trying food that may be new to them.
