Commercial Bank has launched a “unique” credit card loyalty programme, “FlyMiles”, which allows its credit card members to earn “reward points” that can be redeemed against travel to any worldwide destination with the airline the customer chooses.
FlyMiles offers access to more than 300 airlines and 200,000 hotels across Europe, Asia, Africa, South America and beyond.
Commercial Bank customers already earn “reward points” for each Qatari riyal they spend on their credit card and these points can be redeemed against the existing loyalty programme, Accolades. From today these points can also be redeemed with FlyMiles.
By accessing the FlyMiles website, customers can complete an entire transaction - searching for fares, choosing a trip itinerary, booking a flight or hotel, and pay using their FlyMiles in easy steps.
“There are no blackout periods on any airline restricting travel timing, the points scheme can be used to pay taxes and other related charges and customers can even claim against their existing rewards schemes as normal. This ‘double dipping’ means that customers using their FlyMiles to book a trip can still earn loyalty points from their favourite airline or hotel chain, giving even greater value to the customer. Customers have the ability to track every ticketed booking, as well as view and print their own invoices.
